We return to our ritual practice with the celebration of Beltane and May Day, rituals that honor fertility, the Mother, marriage, and community. The Dying god had been reborn and rejoins his consort to bring life back to the land. The seeds we planted on Imbolc are beginning to sprout. Expect delight, but also discomfort as your intentions push to the surface in your psyche and make their way into the light from the rich depths of your psychic soil. It takes effort for a seed to crack, root, and then break through the surface. It must use the opposing weight of dirt to stretch tenaciously towards its goal of reaching the surface. It absorbs the nutrients in the ground. It yearns for sunlight and soaks in the spring rains.
Joins us for this ritual and we will speak of meeting the anima and animus and noticing how a healthy relationship with these inner forces promotes nurturing, protection and creative healthy flow in our lives.
